Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, February 24th at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home in Marseilles. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with Rev.

Duane Kaufman officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles. Mary Ann was born on January 22, 1951 in Cicero, IL to Alex and Mary (Baskevich) Swaekauski.

In 1972, she married William Ballard from Clarksville, TN who survives. She was employed at the Glen-Gery Marseilles Brick Factory for 26 years until her retirement. She was a volunteer EMT for the Marseilles Area Ambulance Service for many years.

She loved horses, dogs, gardening, and especially fishing. Mary Ann is survived by her husband, William; one daughter, Robin Ballard of Ottawa; one sister, Marilyn (Norman) Ellison of Homer Glen; and one brother, Paul (Peggy) Swaekauski of Scottsdale, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Brian; her parents; and one sister, Alice Kiddy.
