Mary Ellen Durando passed away on Monday March 4, 2019 at Staten Island University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Brooklyn on may 28 1944 to the late Simon and Gladys Pyles. Mary was a resident of Harbor House, the assisted Living facility on the grounds of Eger health Care Center.

Mary worked for many years as a Supervisior for Sears . She enjoyed playing Bingo and Mahjong, taking road trips as well as having a passion for eading and writing. She also enjoyed needlepointing and beading in her spare time.

She is survived by her children Melissa Bellafiore and Michael Wallace, her grandchidren Michael, Nicole, Christopher, Ryan and Caitlyn, and her great grandson Brady. Her sisters Tissie and Frances and her brother Billy. She was pre deceased by her son Joseph Durando and her sister Annmarie.
