Mary Emma Smith March 11, 1932 – October 26, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Funeral services for Mary Emma Smith, age 86 of Cookeville, TN will be held on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the First United Pentecostal Church at 875 Walnut Avenue, Cookeville, TN, with Bro. Ron Phillips and Bro. Tim Milligan officiating.

Burial will follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held at Whitson Funeral Home on Sunday, October 28th from 4:00-9:00PM and Monday, October 29th at First United Pentecostal Church from 9:00AM till time of service at 11:00AM. Mrs. Smith passed away on Friday, October 26, 2018 at the Signature Healthcare of Putnam County.

Mary Emma Smith was born on March 11, 1932 in Overton County, TN to the late Kelly D. and Ella Mae (Bilbrey) Laycock. She was a homemaker and attended the First United Pentecostal Church. Inaddition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her Husband: Ridley D. Smith; Granddaughter: Ashley Nicole Adcock; & Host of Brothers & Sisters.

Her Survivors Include: 2 Sons: Larry C. Smith of Spencer, TN and Mark G. Smith of Cookeville, TN 2 Daughters: Pamela Sue Adcock of Hixson, TN and Sharon Jackson of Cookeville, TN 12 Grandchildren: Tracy Smith, Lynn Adcock, Jonathan Smith, Ashley Adcock, Brittany Qualls, Creed Jackson, Mikaela Whitten, Austin Smith, Lee Jackson Colton Smith, Landon Smith, and Tommy Smith 9 Great Grandchildren: Soraya Romera-Adcock, Gabe Romera-Adcock, Quinton Qualls, Bailey Qualls, Seth Smith, Sara Ann Smith, Shayleigh Smith, Sophia Smith, and Sawyer Smith. Pallbearers will be: Creed Jackson, Lynn Adcock, Austin Smith, Jonathan Smith, Colton Smith, and Landon Smith. Honorary Pallbearers: Lee Makenzie Jackson and Mikaela Whitten.

Memorial Donations may be made to the First United Pentecostal Church.
