Mary Jane McGuire, 64, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019. She was born November 26, 1954 in Greenfield, IN to Leonard, Sr. “Tink” and Mary (Mitchell) Cramer. Jane was a member of the Fortville Christian Church, the National Association of Social Workers, VFW Post #6904 Ladies Auxiliary and Jobs Daughters.

She was a 1973 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School and a 1978 graduate of IUPUI earning her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and in 1987 earned her Master of Social Work from Indiana University. Jane retired in 1996 as a psychiatric social worker.

Jane is survived by sister: Elizabeth Cummins of Indianapolis; brother Nichael (Crystal Washburn) Cramer of Guilford, VT; special niece Michelle “Mikey” Hogue as well as many other nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and great-great nieces, great-great nephews and cousins. Jane was preceded in death by her parents and brother Leonard Cramer, Jr. A funeral service to celebrate Jane’s life will be held on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 5:00 pm at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call on Saturday from 3:00 pm until the service begins.
