Obituary for Thelma Elaine Ball Greenfield- Thelma Elaine (Wilson) Ball, born October 15, 1945, honorably graduated from this life on January 5, 2019 and returned to join her parents, Gertrude Buckler Wilson Cole and Claude A. Wilson in the spirit paradise. She was also reunited with her sisters, Hazel (Garrett) Dorsett and Jean (Walter) Rainey; and brother, Wayne (Marilyn) Wilson. Elaine married Ray Ball on August 2, 1964 and leaves behind daughters, Mindy (Jeff) Heck and Misty (Charlie) Reeves; cherished son of 23 years; and grandchildren, Bailey Heck, Kaleb, Kyler, and Kalyn Reeves.

Elaine was a very compassionate and loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family and friends. She accompanied her husband in the Air Force to Biloxi, Mississippi and Moron De La Frontera, Spain. Between 1965 and 1972, she worked civil service for the Navy and Air Force and spent 13 years as the treasurer for Morristown Elementary School.

She found much fulfillment and joy through the children she worked with. She served faithfully in several positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served a church mission in Nauvoo, Illinois. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy.

40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 114 W Rampart Rd, Shelbyville, IN 46176, with viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Asbury Cemetery in Morristown, IN.
