Born November 6, 1961 in Elizabeth, NJ she was the daughter of the late Walter and Elizabeth Ann (Davis) Meise. She was a massage therapist.

She was also previously a waitress at Warrenside Tavern, the Brass Rail, the Clinton House and Charlie Browns. She enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes, as well as the Food Network. She also loved music, dancing and singing.

She is survived by the love of her life, John Pursel; four sons John Pursel III, Matthew Dawson, Luke Dawson and Mark Pearson; three daughters Stephanie Pursel, Katie Spaziani and husband, Kyle and Lindsay Dawson; brothers Paul Meise, Walter Meise and wife, Beth, Kevin Meise and wife, Margie, and William and wife, Marie; sisters Ellen Labonia; Elizabeth DeHanes and husband, Mark, and Lillian Triola and husband, George; nine grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a sister Geraldine Ravioli. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 11, 2019 at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.

Visitation will be held Monday from 5 p.m. to time of services in the funeral home.
