Butler, 89, of Pohatcong Township passed away Saturday, February 2, 2019 in the Phillipsburg Center. Born August 5, 1929 in Springtown, NJ she was the daughter of the late William L. and Alice M. (Carling) Gardner. She and her husband, Myron, were married May 27, 1978.

She was employed by Warren Hospital as a clerk in the Medical Records Department before her retirement. Wilma was a caregiver to her family, friends and neighbors. She did crafts, oil and acrylic painting, sewing, crossword puzzles and baking.

She also enjoyed car shows. She was a life member of United Presbyterian Church in Alpha. She was also past-President of the Ladies Auxiliary of Huntington Fire Company.

In addition to her husband, Wilma is survived by a daughter Lisa Y. Rush DeHart; brother William E. Gardner and wife, Ginny, of Belvidere; and sister Shirley A. Pfeiffer and husband, Roy, of Holland Township. She is predeceased by a son Mitchell E. Rush and a son-in-law, Edward; and a sister A. Marie Doyle. Funeral services will be held at a later date this spring and will be announced.
