After returning home, they were called to be temple workers in the Los Angeles LDS temple. After 43 happy years living in beautiful Lompoc, they decided to move to Utah to be closer to their children and grandchildren.
June loved beautiful things and making people happy with her wonderful cooking and baking. She was never more content than when she had family gathered around her. Mom was the heart of our family and she had an unwavering testimony of her Savior and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
She lived it in her daily life by serving others tirelessly. She served in many ward and stake church leadership positions but her favorite was Relief Society. She will be deeply missed by her family and many new and lifelong friends.
June is survived by her devoted and loving husband, Al; daughters Tyra Partridge (Tom), Renee Gardner (Lorin) and son, David A. Harris III (Sharon); 17 grandchildren; 36 ½ great-grandchildren and a brother David Stephens (Helen).
