Troy Martin-Dempsey Troy Martin-Dempsey, 46, passed away on April 28, 2018. She was born on March 18, 1972 to Russell and Renn Bateman Wagstaff. They later divorced and Troy was adopted by her stepfather Evan L. Barker.

She attended St. Joseph-Ogden High School and graduated from Weber High School in 1990. She married Terry Martin and they later divorced. She then married Bob Dempsey.

Together they raised Joshua Martin and Sage Martin-Dempsey. Troy dealt with many health problems throughout her life, but never lost her sense of humor. She loved working with developmentally disabled adults until she retired.

Her passion was helping others in AA. She loved her children and grandchildren and doted on her dogs. Troy is survived by her husband, Bob, her children: Sharalynn, Justin, Joshua, and Sage; 4 grandchildren; sister, Annie Barker; and father, Evan Barker.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Renn Barker, and father, Russell Wagstaff. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. , Ogden.

Funeral services will be on Friday, May 4, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Myers Mortuary. Interment of ashes will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 7, 2018, at Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 N Monroe Blvd. , Ogden.
