Robert M. Freston Robert Morton Freston (Bob), 83 of Pleasant View, passed away on June 21, 2018. Bob was born on November 2, 1934 to Cyrus Wheelock and Lillian Fowkes Freston, in Mount Pleasant, UT. Educated in Weber County, Bob went to Weber High School, where he starred as team captain of the baseball team during his senior year and received the prestigious title of Jack Frost (voted upon by all the girls).

He attended Weber College and International Correspondence School, majoring in accounting and finance. Bob married his sweetheart, Connie Lew Stone on July 12, 1957. He was employed as a controller for Jetway Systems, owned a paint stripe and removal business, and later moved to Southern California with Connie to work for Lichti-Tarkan International, where he was CFO and part owner.

Bob and Connie returned to Utah in 1972. Semi-retired, Bob traveled the world with his bride, vacationed with friends and family, helped raise the children who surrounded them and grew masterpiece gardens. He continued to do so as he finished his career working at IRS.

Bob is survived by his spouse, Connie; his brothers, Cy (Janet) Freston, James (Margie) Freston and Jon Freston; brother-in-law, Lee (Linda) Stone and several nephews and nieces. The family greatly appreciates Legacy Hospice, especially Sydney Rasmussen, for their care and support during Bob’s last days. Also, much love and endless gratitude to a very special neighbor and par-of-the-family, Debbi Rayburn.

We love you! A viewing will be held at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. on Wednesday, June 27,2018 from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. followed by Graveside Services at Ben Lomond Cemetery, 526 E. 2850 No.
