Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather, Ralph Neil Jeppsen, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 at his home, with his family by his side. Neil was born on August 7, 1942 in Brigham City, Utah, to Eva Bair and Ralph Nels Jeppsen. Neil served in the United States Army Reserves and was honorably discharged in 1968.

Neil married Paulene Parker, with whom he had four children. They later divorced, and Neil married Sally Grobe and gained two step-daughters. Sally preceded him in death, and Neil later married Rhea Vowles on August 4, 2000, and gained two step-sons.

Neil and Rhea were sealed in the Bountiful LDS Temple on August 4, 2001. Neil retired from ATK Thiokol as an equipment operated after 32 years. He served two LDS Service Missions to the Brigham City Bishops’ Storehouse, as counselor in the High Priest Group Leadership, and in the Sunday School presidency.

Neil loved fly fishing, camping, reading, spending time with family, animals and traveling – especially to Iowa. Surviving are his sweetheart, Rhea; children: Yvonne Hodson, Brigham City; Kirk (Karla) Jeppsen, Brigham City; Jason (Diana) Jeppsen, Round Mountain, NV; Chris (Sylvia) Jeppsen, Mantua; step-daughter Katie (Doug) Bartlett, Plymouth MA; step-sons: Steven (Amy) Farnsworth, West Valley; Andrew (Ellen) Farnsworth, Piedmont, OK; 33 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings: Margene Isaacson, St. George; Myrtle Hadlock, North Ogden; and Brent (Renee) Jeppsen, Clinton.

Neil was preceded in death by his parents; Sally Jeppsen, wife; Emilee Tazoi, step-daughter; and Dean Hadlock and Robert Isaacson, brothers-in-law. Funeral services will be Friday, June 22, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City South Stake Center, 865 South 300 West in Brigham City, Utah. Viewing will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 South 100 East, Brigham City; and on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the Church.

Interment will be in the Mantua Cemetery. The family expresses their sincere gratitude to Dr. Vincent Hansen and his staff, Shelby Bair with IHC Home Care and to the IHC Hospice group for their wonderful care of Neil. They are also grateful for the compassionate service provided by the Brigham City 25th Ward.
