SHIRLEY ANN WARKENTIN EVANS It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Shirley Ann Warkentin Evans, 66, on June 20, 2018. Shirley was born on April 7, 1952 in Provo, Utah, to Dan and Alice Warkentin. She is survived by her daughter Laura Evans, grandson Tony Evans; brothers John (Diana) Warkentin and Bill Warkentin; cousins; nephews; nieces; adopted grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Barbara Dudynsky. Shirley grew up in Ogden and attended Bonneville High School. She loved playing games with her family, working on crafts such as crocheting, scrapbooking, and plastic canvas work.

She also spent a lot of her time reading mystery and romance books and watching “chick flicks”. Shirley was a member of the Church of the Nazarene. She worked in housekeeping for over 30 years while she helped support her daughter and grandson.

Shirley was a kindhearted soul and was loved by all that knew her. She has touched many people in her life and will be greatly missed. A private service will be held on Saturday, June 30th, from 6-8 p.m. at 2536 N. 3425 W., Plain City, to celebrate her life.
