Ron Moore Glenn Ronald Moore of Marriott/Slaterville passed away at his home on April 30, 2018. He was born April 19, 1938 in Brigham City, Utah to George Lester Moore and Violet Mathilda Johnson Moore. He was in the first graduating class of Ben Lomond High School in 1956.

He married Darla Marie Beck in 1956; they later divorced. Ron was a Petty Officer in the US Navy and served on the USS Sperry AS-12; he also served in the National Guard. While in the Navy he was trained as an electronics technician, then he worked at Hill Air Force Base, and later owned and operated the TV Shack.

He had a love for nature and loved spending time at his mountain property with his family. He also liked gardening and landscaping. He loved researching his genealogy and enjoyed writing and has authored several books.

Ron is survived by his children; Tana L (Kevin) Dimick, Dekk Moore, Brett (Tamie) Moore, Wendy L. Anderson; 8 grandchildren, Chad (Jennifer), Trever, Ashlee, Shelby (Derek), Tawnie, Skyler, Brody, Deston and 4 great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Ashton, Caden, Kaizen, and one on the way. He also had a sister Carole Patterson and a brother Kenneth Prochet who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his parents.

A viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd. , Ogden followed by graveside services at 2 p.m. at the Brigham City Cemetery where Military Honors will be accorded.
