Mary Kay Glover March 07, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mary Kay Glover, age 71, Joplin, passed away at 10:05 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Freeman West Hospital. Mary was born October 9, 1947 in Joplin to the late M. Ray McDonald and Una F. Thompson McDonald and had lived in Joplin most of her life. Mary graduated from Missouri Southern State College with a degree in computer programming.

She worked at TAMKO for several years as a software engineer and at Green-Yates and Financial Federal in the clerical departments. Mary was a member of the Naval Reserves and the Ladies of the Elks. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Mary married Stephen Glover on July 2, 1973 in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2019. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Lucas Glover; and a brother, Dennis McDonald.

Mary is survived by a son, Toney Glover and his wife, Lisa, Webb City; a grandson, Alex Glover; and two sisters, Margaret McDonald and Linda Parker, both of Joplin. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Parker Mortuary.
