She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Mary Lou enjoyed sewing, arts & crafts, loved traveling with her husband in the early years, and horse racing. Survivors include, son; Steve Byrd and wife Deanna of Brady, 2 grandchildren; Dash Byrd and Destiny Byrd-Tindell and 1 great-grandchild Luke Grayson Byrd.
