Mary Louise Boyd, age 86 of Loris, SC went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at McLeod Loris Hospital in Loris South Carolina. A graveside service was held Friday, November 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Twin City Memorial Gardens in Loris, SC with Dr. Louis Venable officiating. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family.

She was the daughter of the late James Grayden and Beulah Graham Boyd. She was also preceded in death by four sisters, Catherine B. Causey, Lilia B. Hardee, Jessie Mae Webster and her twin sister, Lucille Bertha Boyd. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Loris where she sang in the choir and served in various other capacities within the church.

She attended Converse College in Spartanburg, SC and for many years she served as a leader in the Brownies and Girl Scouts. She leaves to cherish her memory her nieces, Cathy E. Causey and Laura Webster Brown and her husband, Representative Grady Brown. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
