Obituary for Maryevelyn Jane Hammitt On Saturday, July 7, 2018, an angel went to heaven; Maryevelyn Jane Hammitt, age 37 of Johnson City, TN. She was a loving mother and daughter. She was the daughter of John Luther Hammitt and Mary Juanita Hilton Hammitt of Johnson City.

She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by a sister, Juanita “Sissy” Hammitt. Those left to cherish her memory in addition to her parents include a son, Cameron Humphrey and a daughter, Maddie Humphrey; two aunts, Diane Vance and Eva Jones; an uncle, Jimmy Hilton; her children’s grandmother, Sue Humphrey and her children’s father, Aaron Humphrey.
