Maudie Halford April 13, 1944 – January 26, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Maudie Halford, 74, of Covington, LA. , passed away on January 26, 2019 at her daughters’ residence surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be Monday, January 28, 2019 from 5 PM until 8 PM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb with visitation again on Tuesday from 11 AM until services at 1 PM at the funeral home.

Rev. Curtis Ready and Bro. Keith Lilly will officiate and burial will be in the Freeman Cemetery in Liberty.

Maudie was born on April 13, 1944 in Liberty, MS. She is the daughter of the late, Clarence Oliver and Rebecca Johnson Lilly. Maudie was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed her flowers, gardens and her grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her four brothers, James Lilly, Donald Ray Lilly, EC Lilly and Jessie Lilly. She is survived by her companion of thirty years, John Turfitt, two children, Maudie Marie Snow (Ernest Eugene) and Donald Eugene Halford (Roxann); three sisters, Lois Marie freeman, Lola Mae Hall and Mildren Wilkinson; four grandchildren, Carl Ray Westbrook III, Amy Renee Westbrook, Kaitlyn Marie Snow and Emily Paige Snow; nine great-grandchildren, Coby Westbrook, Logan Westbrook, Arianna Westbrook, Krystin Westbrook, Madison Gabriel, Michael Gabriel Jr., Mason Westbrook, Austin Westbrook and Huner Westbrook with numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Donald Eugene Halford, Ernest Snow, Carl Westbrook III, Randall Halford and Keith Lilly.
