Visitation will be Sunday, January 20, 2019 from 12:00 PM until services at 2:00 PM at Hartman Jones Funeral Home. Rev. Jack Whittington will officiate and burial will be in Hollywood cemetery.

George was born on February 12, 1940 in Norfield, MS. He is the son of the late, Flord and Ethel Lee Hales Norton. George worked odd jobs around McComb and was a member of New Life Apostolic Church in Summit.

He was a good father, brother and friend. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Dorris Richardson and one brother, Ray Carol.

He is survived by his daughter, Cindy Norton of St. Francisville; one brother, Harris Walter Alexander (Alma) all of Lucedale, MS; with numerous nieces and nephews.
