Visitation will be Wednesday, January 16, 2019 from 11 A.M. until services at 1 PM at Hartman-Jones Funeral Home of McComb.

Rev. Dennis Walker will officiate, and burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, MS. , with Military honors.

Paul was born on May 5, 1928 in Columbus, MS. He was the son of the late, Paul Hendricks Sr., and Nellie Lee Patrick Hendricks. Paul Hendricks, Jr., honorably served as a seaman, first class in the U.S. Navy during WWII, with the Seabees, receiving the American Theater Medal, Victory Medal, and Asiatic Pacific Medal.

He later retired from the Merchant Marines. He was active in his retirement having drove trucks for Ryder and worked at Croft metals. He was a loving, devoted and doting husband to his wife and will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by both parents, brothers James “Sonny” Hendricks and Billy L. Thomas, sisters Nell Pfau and Bobbie Smith, and his stepson, Johnny Mulligan. He is survived by the love of his life, wife Mary Christine Mahaffey Hendricks; his family of Mrs. Linda Boyd; Dwayne Grina-Boyd and his husband Jim; Derek Boyd and his wife Ashley. Granddaughters Kim Saucier, her husband Stacey and son Taylor; Jennifer Mulligan; grandsons Shannon Mulligan, Patrick Mulligan, David Mulligan and his wife Nancy; Nephews Billy Patrick Smith and his wife Karen and Michael Smith and his husband Jeffery and several other relatives.

Pallbearers will be: Billy Patrick Smith, Tristen Smith, David Mulligan, Stacey Saucier, Tyler Boyd, and Tommy Graves.
