Maurice Allen White, age 58 of Harrodsburg, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Ephraim McDowell: James B. Haggin Memorial Hospital in Harrodsburg. Born December 30, 1960 in Danville, he was the son of the late Giles and Thelma (Wray) White. He attended Harrodsburg High School, was a cemetery grounds keeper for both Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg also in Lincoln Co. Maurice was a very loving father and grandfather, an avid motorcycle enthusiast and his favorite pasttime was cooking.

Survivors include: one son: Joshua Gilbert White of Lawrenceburg; two granddaughters, Amanda Paige White and Joshlyn Peyton White both of Lawrenceburg. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Sims Funeral Services by Keith Greer. Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery in Harrodsburg.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 17, 2019 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Sims Funeral Services. Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family at www. simsfuneralservices.com.
