Melvin Howard Shaw, 83 of Marysville, IN passed away on Wednesday April 25, 2018 at University of Louisville Hospital. He was born on February 22, 1935 in Summer Shade, KY to Willie and Olevia Maxie Shaw. He was an Air Force Veteran and a former processor in the Chemical Processing Industry.

Survivors include his wife the former Phyllis Narron Shaw; sons, William L. Shaw (Angela) of Marysville; daughters, Olevia A. Rodgers (Bill) of Marysville and Treasure L. Helton (Kevin) of Marysville; sister, Helen Stamper of Alaska; 7 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am of Saturday April 28, 2018 at Grayson Funeral Home in New Washington, IN with burial in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Henryville, IN.

Visitation will be from 4 pm to 8 pm on Friday and after 9 am on Saturday. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
