Michael Anthony Wade March 22, 2019 If for some reason I don’t see the sun come up tomorrow I want y’all to know I had a mighty good time. Michael A. Wade went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 22, 2019. Michael was a beloved brother, uncle, and to many a friend.

He was born on March 24, 1961 to John W. Wade, Sr. and the late Nancy A. Wade. Mike was known by many as “Big Wade”, “Bubba”, “Unc”, and “Big Mike”. Michael was formally employed by Go-Mart and Chesapeke Packaging.

He attended Roanoke City Public Schools. Mike marched to the beat of his own drum. He had a passion to travel, go fishing, and cook a grand spread and grill.

Mike never met a stranger. He would do anything to be surrounded with family and friends to share a laugh because he was a jokester and it was in his head to see you smile. Mike will truly be missed.

Anyone that knows him know that when he left the room it was never “see ya later” or “goodbye” instead it was in his own signature voice “Aw Yeah” Aw Yeah”. Those left to mourn are his sister, Gwen Washington; two brothers, Antonio Wade (Cindy) of Hampton VA and Darry Muse (Jennifer); sister-in-law, Martha A. Wade; one uncle, Charles Wade; devoted aunt, Marie Wade; devoted soulmate, Cindy English all of Roanoke VA; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 29, 2019, 12Noon at Serenity.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
