Obituary for Michael Clarke Michael Clarke, 62 of Parlin, New Jersey passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018, at Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey. Born June 12, 1956 in Staten Island, New York, Michael was the son of Donald Clarke, and the late Rose Clarke. Raised in Staten Island, Michael would go on to graduate from New Dorp High School.

Michael was an avid bowler, and spent many days at Bowling on the Green, in Staten Island. It was there he would meet the love of his life, the former Carla Caramella. Michael and Carla would move to Parlin, NJ in 1989.

Michael and Carla were married for 37 years. Michael started working at Computer Research, then moving onto ADP and finally working as an Operations Manager for Broadridge Financial Service in Secaucus, NJ for over 30 years. He was very active in the Madison Park Little League, coaching baseball.

He also coached basketball. Michael would volunteer his time to the special needs children Challenger Program at the Raritan Bay Cougars football organization for many years. He also served on the board of the Raritan Bay Cougars for many years.

He enjoyed routing for his favorite sports teams the NY Mets and NY Giants. He will be missed by all those that were blessed to have had him in their lives. Michael is survived by his beloved wife Carla, by his loving son, Stephen, by his loving father Donald, by his caring siblings, Donna Brady, Bob Clarke, Ken Clarke, and Patti Curatolo-Kelman, and by many loving nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, July 17, 2018, at Michael Hegarty & John Vincent Scalia Home For Funerals and Cremation Service, 3377 US Highway 9, Old Bridge, New Jersey. A Mass of Christian Burial is being planned for Wednesday July 18, 2018, at St. Bernadette’s Church, Parlin, NJ. Interment at Holy Cross Burial Park to follow.
