A graveside service for Michael Dennis Clark, age 71, of Rising Star, Texas will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2019 at the Rising Star Cemetery under the direction of the Heartland Funeral Home of Early. Mr. Clark passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2019 in Early. Michael Dennis was born on August 14, 1947 in Brownwood, Texas to Carlton and Juanita Emma Burkhead Clark.

He was a graduate on Rising Star High School and served in the United States Army during Vietnam receiving the Bronze Star. Mr. Clark had previously worked in the Oil Field and was also a farmer and rancher. Survivors include his children Michael and Leslie Clark, Brian and Keisha Clark, Cody Clark, Seth Clark, Jillian Clark and Chance Cheatham; Brothers Carl Clark and Danny Clark; grandchildren Caleb Christopher Clark, Cadence-Clearwater Clark, Tatianna Beard, Jazzlynn Beard and Jacklynn Beard.
