Michael’s Obituary QUEENSBURY — Michael J. Brennan, 94, of Queensbury, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Wesley Health Care Center. Born March 1, 1924 in Mineville, he was the son of John R. and Hattie (Genier) Brennan. Michael received his bachelor’s degree from RPI.

He was a professional engineer with NYSOGS. He married Phyllis M. Carlson on September 6, 1948. Michael served as Technical Sergeant (TSGT) in the United States Marine Corps from April 12, 1943 to December 1, 1945.

He received an Air Medal with two gold stars. In addition to his parents, Michael was predeceased by his wife, Phyllis (Carlson) Brennan; and a son, Patrick M. (Sandra) Brennan. Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Eileen (Eric Grant) Brennan of Plattsburgh, Timothy (Kathryn) Brennan of Queensbury, and Kevin (Jeanette) Brennan of Port Hueneme, CA; grandchildren, Erin, Michael, Courtney, and Megan; great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Grant, Brady; a brother, Robert Brennan of Queensbury; also several nieces and nephews.

A Catholic Memorial Mass will take place in the spring at a time to be announced. Interment with military honors will follow at Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd. , Schuylerville, NY 12871.
