Michael Lawrence Myers, 47, of Danville, VA, died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at his residence. Michael, better known to his friend’s as the “FAT MAN from SUDAN” aka “Mole” was born in Danville, VA. on May 23, 1971 a son of the late Paul Lawrence Myers and the late Betty Wayne Myers.

He is survived by two sisters Jerri Tickle (Henry) of Danville VA. , Donna Girdler DeZutter (Dan) of, Somerset KY. , a brother Richard Girdler of Summit, Illinois.

Michael was also known to his sister Jerri “Lottie” as “My Little Professor”. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one brother, Thomas Eugene Myers. Don’t cry for me.

I will be okay. Heaven is my home now, and this is where I’ll stay. Don’t cry for me.

I’m where I belong. I want you to be happy and try to stay strong. Don’t cry for me.

It was just my time, but I will see you someday on the other side. Don’t cry for me. I am not alone.

The angels are with me to welcome me home. Don’t cry for me, for I have no fear. All my pain is gone, and Jesus took my tears.

Don’t cry for me. This is not the end. I’ll be waiting here for you when we meet again.

The family will be receiving friends at the residence, 236 North Raleigh Ct. Apt. C , Danville, VA.
