Michael “Mike” P. Iannotti, 68, of Johnstown, New York passed peacefully on Feb. 23, 2019, at Albany Medical Center; following a brief illness, which he faced with vigor and dignity. He was surrounded by his loving family.

Mike, as he was well known by his family and friends, was born on, February 1st, 1951, to the late Louis Iannotti and Evelyn Baird Iannotti. Mike was proud to have accomplished the requirements needed to obtain his GED Diploma, in 1984. He was married to his wife and life partner; Kathi Callery Iannotti, whom he went on to build a life and beautiful family with, as well as many unforgettable memories with loved ones and friends.

Memories for which Mike will always be loved, missed and cherished for. Mike was employed at Anderson-Neagle, where he had great pride in being an OSHA Certified Safety Specialist, and in his younger years, worked hard at the numerous local tannery’s. He was a very active community member who contributed in many ways; and was proud of his memberships and volunteer opportunities at the Johnstown Lions Club, Johnstown Eagle Club, Johnstown Moose Club, and The Concordia Club, of Gloversville.

Mike’s favorite holiday was The Fourth of July. He threw a great party each year for 20 years, having fun and making memories with family and friends to last forever… Mike was up for any “adventure”. He especially loved to travel with Kathi, and no matter where they went, Mike managed to make friends.

He was ‘Surprisingly Still’ a Dallas Cowboys Fan, ever keeping the faith and loyalty, a theme paralleled in his life. His favorite of days spent in his favorite place, his backyard. Especially on ‘Sunday FUNday’!

Mike leaves behind not only his beloved wife, Kathi but also his beloved children; son, Roger (April) Iannotti, daughters; Ronnie (Thom) Dona and Pam (Kevin) Kowalski, his three grandchildren, who brought him so much pride and joy; Ashley and Aaron Dona, and Colin Kowalski, his ‘favorite’ sister; Mary (Darell) Hoyt, his sister in law; Carol Iannotti, his stepmother; Harriet Acquilla, and his stepsister; Robin Curtin. Numerous Uncles, nephews, nieces, and cousins are also left behind.

He was predeceased by not only his parents but also his three brothers; Fred, Roger and Scott Iannotti. The family invites relatives and friends to attend a calling period on Saturday, March 2nd, 2019 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 1 N. Market St., Johnstown, NY 12095 from 12 Noon to 3:00 P.M. A Memorial Service will commence at 3:oopm. , immediately following the calling period, with Pastor Michael Ackerbauer, his beloved nephew, to officiate.
