Raymond M. Greenfield, Sr., age 70, of Gloversville, passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Nathan Littauer Hospital surrounded by his wife and his loving family. He was born on August 6, 1948 in Gloversville, a son of the late Frederick E. Greenfield and Mary E. Sartin Greenfield. Raymond honorably served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War.

He was employed as a Laborer for several local businesses until the onset of his disability. He is survived by his wife of 42 years Debra L. Blowers Greenfield; three daughters Arlene Sweet (Richard) of Gloversville, Mary Broughton (Scott) of Canajoharie and Laura Lobdell (Bobby) of Broadalbin; two sons John Greenfield (Amanda) of Gloversville and Doren Greenfield and his fiancee Heather, one brother Larry Greenfield (Janet) and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers Charles Greenfield and John Greenfield and one grandson Christopher Weaver.

There will be no calling hours or funeral services. Cremation was at Vale Crematory, Schenectady. Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc., 215 E. Main Street, Johnstown.
