Linda A. Knapp, age 70, of Johnstown, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Mountain Valley Hospice, Gloversville, with her family at her side. She was born December 29, 1948 in Amsterdam a daughter of the late Lawrence and Margaret Borden Stock. Linda was employed as a receptionist at Dr. Stock Podiatry until her retirement.

She enjoyed attending all sporting events for her grandchildren, and also spending time with her family. She loved gardening and was a huge fan of Johnstown Field Hockey. Linda was a member of CUFI, Christian United For Israel.

Survivors include her husband Peter W. Knapp whom she married on July 4, 1970; one son Michael (Kristen) Knapp; two daughters Michele (Chris) Lake and Lindy (Steve) Squire; four brothers Larry Stock, Ronald Stock, David (Susan) Stock, Jimmy (Susan) Stock; two sisters Donna Musella and Margaret (Bud) Wojciechowski; grandchildren Benjamin, Molly, Andrew, Ava, Brody, Maddie, Ellie, Lily, Tyler, Brianna, and Abigail; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be held on Friday March 1, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Adirondack Baptist Church, 1431 NY-29, Gloversville, New York. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am prior to the service at church.

Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made in her memory to Hospice. Interment will be at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to the A.G. Cole Funeral Home, Inc. 215 East Main Street, Johnstown.
