Ada Ann Eutermarks, age 79, of Johnstown, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Nathan Littauer Hospital, Gloversville. She was born on March 31, 1939 in Johnstown, the daughter of the late Joseph Banker and Eleanor Daly Banker. Ada was a Class of 1956 graduate of Johnstown High School and attended the Nathan Littauer School of Nursing.

She was employed for many years as a Secretary for Dr. Joseph Melita in Johnstown and later for Dr. Maurice Tartell also in Johnstown. Mrs. Eutermarks was of the Methodist faith. Ada was a proud horticulturist and was a member of the Kingsboro Garden Club.

She was also a member of the Concordia Club. Mrs. Eutermarks is survived by her husband Harold N. Eutermarks whom she married on May 20, 1961, one son Scott H. Eutermarks and his wife Jane of Gloversville, one daughter Lynn M. McClellan of South Daytona, Florida; three grandsons Cameron Eutermarks, Austin Eutermarks and Devon McClellan and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to Ada’s parents, she was also predeceased by her brother-in-law Herbert Eutermarks and sister-in-law Susie Rende.

A memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at the Barter & Donnan Funeral Home, 1 N. Melcher Street, Johnstown with Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. Memorial visitation for family and friends will be prior to the service on Thursday, February 21, 2019 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at the funeral home.
