Obituary for Mr. Michael R. Finley Michael R. Finley, 71, of Hartford, passed away on Monday March 26, 2018, at his residence with family members by his side. Michael was born on March 4, 1947 to the late Vendell and Madeline Cox Finley. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy.

He was a welder and prior to his retirement had worked for the U.S. Army Corp. of Engineers. Prior to that he had worked for the Peabody Mine Co

He is survived by his sons; Darrell Finley (Krista) of Falls of Rough, KY, Michael G. Finley (Amber) of North Middletown, KY, a brother Glen Finley (Lila) of Bowling Green, KY, along with grandchildren; Heather and Hallie Finley, Hannah Rogers and great-grandchildren, Mellinee and Peyton LoPresto, and Alice Hodges. Aunts, Nadine Cox and Lurlie Hoover Memorial visitation will be held from 2pm to 4pm on Wednesday April 11, 2018 at Miller-Schapmire funeral Home. Followed by a memorial service at 4pm.
