Michael’s Obituary Michael “Mick” J. Romano, 64, of Saylorsburg, died Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest in Allentown. He was the husband of the late Robin (Graver) Romano who died in 2005. Born on February 9, 1955 in Hazleton, he was a son of Aileen (Mahon) Romano of Reeders and the late Anthony L. Romano.

He lived in Monroe County most of his life, was a 1973 graduate of Stroudsburg High School, and earned his Bachelors Degree from East Stroudsburg State College in 1981. Mick served in the United States Marine Corps and was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service in East Stroudsburg. He was a member of the NALC, Branch 274.

In addition to his mother, surviving are a son, Christopher Romano of Saylorsburg; a brother, Anthony Romano of Wooddale; two sisters, Ann Law and husband Brian of Reeders and Jean Maybin of Wilkes-Barre; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Packer. Mick’s life will be celebrated at a gathering from noon to 3:00PM on Saturday, March 30, at the Pocono Township Volunteer Fire Company hall on Route 611 in Tannersville. Cremation was private.
