Obituary for Michael R Parsley Michael Robert Parsley December 10, 1954 – November 3, 2018 Leavenworth, Washington Michael Robert Parsley (AKA Duck), 64, of Leavenworth, WA, passed away on November 3, 2018, at home. He was born to Brice and Marian Parsley on December 10, 1954, in the Leavenworth Sanitarium. Michael was a lifetime resident of Leavenworth, where he graduated from Leavenworth High School in 1973.

He was very active in sports, participating in football, basketball and baseball. He was employed locally at the Katzenjammer’s Steak and Seafood, Steven’s Pass Ski Resort and the Leavenworth Golf Course. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Brice, in 2007.

He is survived by his mother, Marion, of Leavenworth, WA; his daughter, Hillary Taylor Bertrand, of Yakima, WA; sister, Cheryl Parsley (Randy Milne) of Peshastin, WA; nieces: Amity, Carsen, Chloe, and great-niece, Charlotte. A Gathering of Remembrance will be held at from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 10th, 2018 at Krystal’s Restaurant, located at 280 US-2, Leavenworth, WA 98826. Arrangements are in the care of Heritage Memorial Chapel, East Wenatchee.
