Obituary for Daniel Joseph “Danny” Davis Daniel Joseph Davis February 6, 1978 – October 1, 2018 Wenatchee, WA Daniel “Danny” Joseph Davis, 40, of Wenatchee, passed away on Monday, October 1, 2018, from an aneurysm. He was born in Lynnwood, WA, on February 6, 1978, to Nita Marie Dunham and was later adopted by Edward Davis, following his marriage to Nita in 1984. Daniel was raised in Wenatchee and attended Columbia Elementary School, Orchard Middle School, Wenatchee High School and finished at Westside High School.
Following high school, he met Jody McAlister. They fell in love and were married. Austin McAllister was born on September 30, 1996.
Two years later, Daniel and Jody were separated and Austin was raised by Daniel and his parents until he was in his early teens, at which time he went to live with Jody’s mother, Linda, in Ephrata, WA. Austin was Danny’s pride and joy; he loved Austin so much. This connection stayed strong and they always remained a part of each other’s lives.
Austin was able to visit Daniel shortly before he passed from this life. Daniel worked in Security Services, Home Health Care and the Construction industry. He loved his family and friends and would help them whenever they needed help.
He was a practical joker and there are stories about him and his super glue escapades. He was an accomplished artist, specializing in acid etching. He made beautiful designs on mirrors, glass cups and drinking glasses.
He liked martial art movies, Betty Boop and Marilyn Monroe. He also loved it when he was asked to take care of his friend’s children, who were in need of babysitting. Daniel is survived by his parents, Edward and Nita Davis of Wenatchee, WA; his separated wife, Jody McAllister; his son, Austin McAllister of Ephrata, WA; his mother-in-law, Linda McAllister of Ephrata, WA; and his extended family including: Dekota McAllister (Austin’s brother), Calvin Schwartz.
Jennifer Hunting, Aunt Rose, Cousin Amora and Cousin Jessica. A Celebration of Daniel’s Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at the Church of God, Faith of Abraham, 1835 N. Western Ave. , Wenatchee, WA.
