Michelle passed unexpectedly at home. She is predeceased by her parents Jeanne and John Sahaida. Born in Oakland, a graduate of San Ramon High School in Danville, was a runner-up as Miss Contra Costa, she worked in the banking industry in the Bay Area before moving to Redding and also lived in Lake Tahoe.

Her interests were dancing, teaching gymnastics and as a youth qualified as a gymnast for the 1972 Summer Olympics. Michelle is survived by her sister, Susan (Charles) Hinkle and nephew, Anthony Langon. Friends are invited to a visitation Tuesday May, 1, 2018 from 5 to 8 pm at Oak Park Hills Chapel, 3111 N. Main St., Walnut Creek, CA.
