Mildred D. Seyfert, 95, passed away Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at Pratt Rehabilitation and Residence Center in Pratt. She was born September 3, 1923 in Cheney, Kansas to Frieda (Klinker) Hillman and George Hillman. She married Lester Seyfert on June 10, 1948 in Cheney, Kansas.

He preceded her in death on October 20, 1960. Mildred taught elementary school for 48 years. She is survived by her six children, Marcia (Rick) Stahl of Cullison, Suzanne (Dale) Miller of Lawrence, Ernest (Pam) Seyfert of Pratt, Edward Seyfert of Overland Park, Rosemary (Kevin) Harris of Abilene and Michael Seyfert of Overland Park; 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester; sisters, Betty May and Margaret Frazier; and brothers, Alvin, Leon, Dean and Dale Hillman. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends Sunday 5-7 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, February 25, 2019 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Natrona with Pastor Michael Schotte presiding.

Burial will follow at St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery, Natrona. Memorials may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Lutheran Church Missouri Synod or Pratt Public Library in care of Larrison Mortuary.
