Haviland, Kansas – Gail S. Zook, 70, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita. She was born November 20, 1948 in Meno, Oklahoma to Leon and Clara (Reimer) Hoffman. On October 23, 1970, she married Pete Zook.

He survives. Gail attended Haviland Friends Church. She was a member of Leona Friends Women and served as secretary/treasurer for Hoffman Heritage Foundation.

She enjoyed meeting her friends for coffee at the Origins coffee shop and The Haviland hardware store, spoiling her grandchildren, bicycling, sewing and traveling. She is survived by her husband, Pete; children, Lori Zook of Okeene, Oklahoma, Becky Zook of Enid, Oklahoma and Jeff (Michelle) Zook of Great Bend; sister, Jean (Virgil) Hart of Plainview, Texas; sisters in-law, Margie (Harley) Landrum of Enid, Oklahoma, Lynn (Carl) James of South Haven; brother in-law, John (Elaine) Zook of Waukomis, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Clarissa Kraus, Caleb Zook and Joshua Zook; six nieces and nephews; and numerous other family and friends. Gail is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Johnny Hoffman; and sister, Melinda Hoffman.

Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. with family receiving friends from 6-8 at Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Road, Pratt. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Haviland Friends Church, Haviland with Pastor Todd Follette presiding. Burial will follow at Haviland Cemetery, Haviland.

Memorials may be made to Leona Friends Women, Barclay College and American Cancer Society in care of Larrison Mortuary, 300 Country Club Rd, Pratt.
