Mollie Herron Maxey, 77, of Lyndhurst, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in Crozet. She was born on October 29, 1940 in Santa Ana, CA to the late Edward and Ruby Herron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert T. Maxey, Jr.; her grandparents who raised her, Grant and Gretchen Herron; 14 siblings; son-in-law’s, David Parrish and David Bryant.

She is survived by her daughters, Katherine Parrish, Juanita (Gordon) Boppe, Mary Lowery and Tammy (Scott) Thompson; 8 grandchildren and 3 great granddaughters. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Charlton and Groome Funeral Home Chapel, 619 Lifecore Drive, Fishersville, VA 22939 Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060-9979.
