Morgan’s Obituary Mr. Morgan Lamaurice Coleman, age, 58, a native and resident of Thomasville, AL was born August 27, 1960 to the parentage of the late Mr. Morgan Charlie Coleman and the late Mrs. Amanda Virginia Carleton Coleman. He departed this life February 28, 2019 in Fulton, AL. He was a faithful member of Thomasville Church of God In Christ.

He loved church and he loved to sing. Two of his favorite gospel songs were “Spirit Fall Down” and “Never Would Have Made It”. He was a member Thomasville Masonic Lodge #128.

He was a family man and was affectionately called “Morris”. He enjoyed working in his yard, working on cars, and was known as the “Scrap Iron King”. He was employed with Canfor Scotch Gulf Lumber Mill in Fulton, Al.

He will be forever loved and cherished in the hearts of his devoted family, loving wife of 14 years, Glendine Chapman-Coleman of Thomasville, AL; one son, Terrance (Tara Gates) Coleman of Thomasville, AL; five daughters, Dashiell (Kendrick) Jenkins of Vineland, AL; Renetha Files (Theodis) Dent and Andrea Coleman, both of Montgomery, AL; Joann Pugh and Amanda (Otis) Bumpers, both of Jackson, AL; three brothers, Finnos Coleman of St. Louis, MO; Barraya (Rowena) Columbus, OH; and James (Coleen) Coleman of Omar, FL; six sisters, Elsie Draughn of Mechanicsville, MD; Thelma Johnson of Columbus, OH, Marian Manor of Jacksonville, FL; Jane Coleman and Mattie (Roderick) Bradley, both of Tuscaloosa, AL; and Marvia (Richard) Tait of Lower Peachtree, AL; seven grandchildren, Otis Bumpers, Jordan Dent, Quendauris McCall, Tlaysia Coston, Da’Kendereous, Da’Kendria, and Kendrick Jenkins, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, devoted friends, Anthony Sharp and Ronnie Jones. Viewing Saturday, March 9, 2019, 10am until the 11am service at Thomasville Church of God in Christ, 1200 Church Drive, Thomasville, AL; Rev. Jimmy Allen, pastor and eulogist.
