Mozell (Fox) Handy, 83, went to be with the Lord Thursday, February 14, 2019. She was born in Fox Town, Kentucky on January 19, 1936, to James H. and Flossie (Richardson) Fox. The Fox family moved to Indiana in 1941 where she resided until she was married to Thomas Handy.

They raised five children who are surviving: Patricia Lacy, Robert J. Doty, Debbie A. Mack, Michael E. Doty, and Jason A. Handy. Mozell is also survived by two siblings, Okla C. Fox and Mildred D. (Bill) Hinchman, all of Connersville; many nieces, nephews, grandkids, great-grandkids, and great-great-grandkids. She is preceded in death by her parents; and two siblings, Orville A. Fox and Margie L. (Mount) Pursifull.

Mozell was an avid worker. She worked at Hooks Drug Store in the late 1950s, and also Mousie’s Café in Connersville for several years. After moving to Clarksville, Tennessee she was the top breeder of small dogs for ten years.

Mozell was a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister. She loved being with her family and doing things with them. She will be greatly missed.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home. Reverend Bobby Lee will officiate. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery.
