Myka’s Obituary Myka Necohl Dean, 47, of Carrollton, TX, passed away Tuesday, January 29, 2019 in Carrollton, TX. Myka was born June 1, 1971 in Lubbock, Texas to Wesley Harlan Dean and Glenna Diane (Corbell) McKnight. Myka was self-employed as an artist and volunteered and served as a director for Battle Ground Texas.

Myka is survived by her mother, Diane and step-father, Lester Scott “Pal” McKnight of Savannah, TX; two brothers, Cody Dean of Lubbock, TX and Mark McKnight of Celina, TX; eight sisters, Mauri Decker of Savannah, TX, Tohi White of Littleton, CO, Pam Dean of Lubbock, TX, Jennifer Larsen of Colleyville, TX, Natalie Pray of Keller, TX, Madelyn Lake of Palm Springs, CA, Valerie Earnshaw of Bedford, NH and Melanie Dodge of Highland, UT. Myka was preceded in death by her father, Wesley Harlan Dean; her beloved grandparents, Dwight and Anna Jean Corbell and Harlan and Maureen Dean. Visitation will be held 2:00 PM-3:00 PM, Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Slay Memorial Chapel of Aubrey.

A funeral service will be held immediately following at 3:00 PM with Brad Wilkerson officiating. Interment will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, February 4, 2019 at Southland Cemetery in Slaton, TX. Online condolences may be shared at www.
