Myrtle Helen Whitcomb passed away on Monday May 7, 2018 at the Lawlis Family Hospice in Mequon. She was 98 years old. Myrtle was born in Milwaukee, WI on August 28, 1919, the daughter of Emil and Minnie (Nee Roghan) Dumke.

She was united in marriage to Douglas Whitcomb on May 5, 1947. Survivors include her children Dudley (Ellen) Whitcomb of Elizabeth, TN and Jeanne (Eugene) Peterson of Grafton, WI; grandchildren Jessica (David) Frank of Germantown, WI, Erica (Michael) Janis of Racine, WI and… Read More » Andrew Peterson of Grafton, WI; great-grandchildren Ty, Ella Lucas, Natalie and Jack. Further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Whitcomb, and brothers Chet and Roy Dumke. A Memorial Service will at 11:00 AM on Friday May 11, 2018 at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, W76 N627 Wauwatosa Rd, Cedarburg, WI 53012. Pastor Mark Rohrback officiating.

Inurnment Pinelawn Memorial Park. Memorials to Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church or Lawlis Family Hospice, appreciated. The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday at a luncheon to be held following the service.
