Obituary for Nancy Cavanaugh Sumter SC Nancy Lee Cutsinger Cavanaugh, age 58, wife of Marcus Owen Cavanaugh, died Saturday July 14, 2018 at her daughter’s home. Born June 27, 1960 in Roanoke, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Melvina Elizabeth Johnson Cutsinger and the late Abe Cleveland Cutsinger. Mrs. Cavanaugh was a supervisor with the Sumter School District PERK program.

Survivors include a daughter, Sarah Moses and her husband Jackie Moses of Sumter, a brother, Abe “Butch” Cutsinger and his wife Connie Cutsinger of Killeen, TX, 4 grandchildren, Nicholas, Natalie, Shavonta and Sharney, and a host of many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Cleveland Cavanaugh. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Friday at Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.

Thomasina Moses, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation services will be held from 6-8 pm Thursday at Elmore- Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and at other times at the home of her daughter.

Memorials may be made to the Hollings Cancer Institute at MUSC, 86 Jonathan Lucas St, Charleston, SC 29425. Elmore-Cannon-Stephens Funeral Home and Crematorium of Sumter is in charge of the arrangements.
