Obituary for Nancy “Nan” Eckfeldt Nancy Priest “Nan” Eckfeldt, 89, of Kennebunkport, died peacefully Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Avita of Stroudwater in Westbrook. Nan was born October 5, 1928 in Ayer MA, the daughter of Roger A. and Ruth Wesley Priest, and is a graduate of Monmouth Academy. She attended the University of New Hampshire and graduated from the Chamberlain School of Retailing in Boston.

Nan loved to tend her flower gardens, watch and feed the many birds that visited her, and to make her home a comfortable place for friends and family to visit. She is a longtime member of South Congregational Church in Kennebunkport, and had been active in Good Cheer, the Jolly Eight Bridge Club, the Arundel Yacht Club, the Arundel Cemetery Corporation, and Cape Arundel Golf Club. Nan is predeceased by her husband John M. Eckfeldt, who died in 1996.

Survivors include her daughters Gail Eckfeldt McBride and her husband Edward, of Norway, ME, and Lyn Eckfeldt of Largo, FL. Services will be private. Interment will be in Arundel Cemetery.
