Obituary for Nancy Szymanowski (Schilling) Nancy Schilling Szymanowski, 71, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Tuesday September 11, 2018 at Edinboro Manor. She was born in Erie on June 30, 1947 a daughter of the late Robert and Betty Llloyd Schilling. Nancy graduated from Academy High School and worked for Hoffmann’s Church and Religious Goods for 20 years before retirement.

She enjoyed making jewelry and was an avid New York Yankees fan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Mentley, and her granddaughter, Hayley. Survivors include two daughters, Amy Baker of Edinboro and Sara Szymanowski of Bradenton, FL; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Julie Pilgere and her husband, J.R., and Patricia Shelander and her husband, Harry, all of Erie; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Russell C. Schmidt & Son Funeral Home Inc., 5000 Wattsburg Rd. , on Friday from 5 p.m. until the Sharing of Memories at 7 p.m.. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
