Obituary of Naomi Weitzel Naomi Lee Weitzel, 93, a resident of Kingsville, Texas and a former resident of Salisbury and Ocean City, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 in Kingsville, TX. She was born on October 10, 1924 in Princess Anne, she was the daughter of the late Charles H. Larmore and Elva Alice Larson Larmore. Mrs. Weitzel attended school in Somerset County and later graduated from business school.

She along with her husband owned and operated Weitzel’s Restaurant in Ocean City along with the help of her children. She was a longtime member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Salisbury where she was active in the Opportunity Shop. She was a volunteer with the Junior Board at PRMC.

She enjoyed her bridge club, friends, her career, her Poodles and especially her family. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Melvin Weitzel; a son, Charles “Chuck” R. Weitzel; a grandson, Matthew Weitzel; two sisters; and a son-in-law, Edward Esteves. Naomi is survived by three children, Charlotte W. Esteves of Kingsville, TX, Brenda A. Weitzel & her husband, Najeh Fauz of Houston, TX, and Gordon M. Weitzel, Jr. of Salisbury; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Entombment will follow at Wicomico Memorial Park. Officiating will be Rev.

Ronald A. McLeod and Rev. Ernie Bailey. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
