Gaddis and Nina Mae Hiltabiddle Gaddis. On July 31, 1943, she was married to Fred Kirchhoff, Sr., who preceded her in death on February 13, 1986.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Oliver Orlyn “Bud” Gaddis and Howard Gaddis; and two sisters, Grace Santee and Ruth Collins. She attended Caddo Gap Baptist Church. For many years she worked as a rancher, side-by-side with her husband, Fred, until his death, at which time she immediately took over working the farm and ran it as the main rancher for many more years.

She enjoyed gardening, canning and was a wonderful cook, but her greatest joy in life was taking care of her family. She will forever be remembered as our wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her two sons, Fred Kirchhoff, Jr. and his wife, Faith, and Edward Orlyn Kirchhoff and his wife, Peggy, all of Glenwood; four grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer and Paul Struck, Craig and Lindsay Kirchhoff, Wendi and Christopher Cruce and Fred “Trey” Kirchhoff, III, and his fiancée, Roxy; seven great-grandchildren, Bradley, Haley, Hayden, Adley, Kendall, Jenna and Addison; one great-great-grandchild, Addison; one brother and sister-in-law, Frank and Carol Gaddis of Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
