Obituary for Okey Wiley Williams Okey Wiley Williams, 91 of Albuquerque, passed away Wednesday October 31, 2018. Okey was born December 17, 1926 in Adena Ohio to the late Okey Sr. and Bertha Williams. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Nell Williams; granddaughter, Amy Lawrence; brothers, Kenny Williams, Jim Williams and Ellis Williams.

Okey joined the Navy two days prior to his eighteenth birthday. His father had to sign paperwork to allow him to join. He went on to work at Frontier Airlines for 25 years before retiring from Delta Airlines in 1992.

He resided in Albuquerque NM for 55 years where he loved his family, especially his childen, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his dogs. He attended Temple Baptist (now Uptown Church) for 50 years and sat in the same seat every Sunday. He was quiet, simple, and above all kind.

He never had a cross word to share. Okey is survived by his daughter, Tammy Lawrence and husband Bob; son, Terry Williams and wife Kerri; granddaughters, Julie Moretti and spouse Ryan, and Harlie Williams; grandsons, Joshua Williams and fiancée Kristina, Nathan Williams, Hunter Williams; great grandchildren, David Lawrence, Micaela Moretti and Grayson Moretti. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday November 8, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane with Pastor James Dennis officiating.

Entombment will follow in Valley View Memorial Park, Hurricane, with Military honors. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
