Obituary for John Allen Jones John Allen Jones, 73, of Scott Depot passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at his home. Born September 9, 1945 in Coalton, WV, a son of the late Bernard Allen and Virginia Ruth Simmons Jones, He is also preceded in death by his brother, Bernard Francis Jones. John was a retired department manager from Home Depot and served his country with the United States Army during Vietnam.

Surviving are his wife, Jacqueline Riddle Jones; daughters, Jennifer Mills (Jason) of Richmond, VA, Jacinda Jarrett of Scott Depot; sons, Brian Jones (Summer) of Berea, KY, Justin Riddle (Misty) of Hurricane; siblings, Charles Jackson Jones (Nancy), Joyce Ann Bosserman (Ed), Betty Jo Jones, Virginia Lee Jones and Bradley Keith Jones (Mary) all of Coalton; grandchildren, Jacob, Josh, Seth, Mason, Willie, Justin, Keelin, Elliot, Sammy, Jackson, Kyra, Hailey, Maddy and Payton; great-grandsons, Colton and Dawson. A celebration of his life will be held 3pm Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Chapman Funeral Home, Hurricane with Pastor Charles V. Williams and Pastor James McCormick officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
